An interesting prompt popped up on tumblr about a week ago about reflecting on your "Year in Cosplay." Due to vacation laziness, I didn't think I was going to take part in it, but after seeing a bunch of my friends post their 2012 cosplay progress, I just couldn't resist.
I learned that it's okay to be part of this hobby, regardless of what people who "don't understand it" think because if it's something you love, you shouldn't be stopped by outside forces. If you're passionate about something, then that should be enough reason to do it and love doing it. That's what I believe now.
With 2012 coming to a close, I am forever thankful for cosplay and the opportunities it has allowed me to experience. Without this crazy yet wonderful hobby, I wouldn't have been able to find out things about myself or become great friends with some of the most amazing people. Basically, I wouldn't be the person I am today.
And with that, I can't wait to see what 2013 will bring me. Things can only continue to look up from here and I'm excited to partake on new journeys with old friends and new. A lot of changes have been happening in the last few months of this year but they're all for the better. 2013 is going to be a good year. I know it. Katsucon 2K13
Slight change of plans. Due to time and money, I will not be able to complete Ice Prince Finn for Sunday. I'm not sure what I'll bring/wear instead, but I think this is for the better! Both for my wallet and my sanity;; But as of right now, these cosplays are still happening 100%~
ALSO, my Generation of Miracles team is ready to go!
I can't wait to see you all there! SOCIALtumblr: [link]
➜ This is where you can find me the most. I'm a tumblr addict and I blog A LOT of stuff, but hey, the people I follow are awesome, and it's a great way to meet new people! So if you have a tumblr, feel free to follow me and drop me a note! I'd love to know all of you better ;w; twitter: [link]
➜ I almost on twitter as much as I am on tumblr. It's really the only way I can communicate with friends during my work days without getting caught :'D I love having conversations on twitter...which may sound weird, but it's hella fun!Facebook: [link]
➜ Not as nerdy as my other social networks, but hey, it's another great way to keep in touch with people regardless of all their stupid butt updates. ACP: [link]
➜ I just started updating this on a regular basis not too long ago, and I absolutely love it! It's definitely my favorite place to keep track of all my cosplays :3
Seriously followers, if you're on any of these things, don't hesitate to follow me and talk to me! I'm kinda shy at first, but I love making new friends in the cosplay community because you guys are amaaaazing~!
